Vantaa art school
for children and young people
     
 
 
     

Vantaa art school serves pupils aged 5 to 20 living in Vantaa. These pupils attend the school out their free time. Operating in many different parts of Vantaa, this fee-charging school arranges teaching in the afternoons and evenings. The school offers an extensive art curriculum taught by trained teachers, artists, architects, photographers and other visual arts professionals.

 

STUDIES

Introductory studies:

for pupils between 5 and 6 years of age, 1-2 hours per week. Pupils work in a playlike manner that appeals to the imagination.

Intermediate studies:

for pupils between 7 and 12 years of age, 2-3 hours per week. The aim is to develop the pupil´s visual expression with the help of different techniques.

Advanced studies/Workshops:
for pupils between 13-20 years of age, 3-4 hours per week. The aim is to deepen the skills gained in the intermediate studies and to further develop the pupil´s own visual expression.
The school runs the following workshops: general visual arts, drawing and painting, graphics, ceramics, textiles, animation, architecture, comics, digital imaging and photography. pupils attend their choice of workshop for at least a year.
